  • DESCRIPTION

    Performance characteristics of pneumatic knife gate valve:

     1. It adopts a clamping structure, which is small in size and light in weight; the completely open channel can prevent the medium from depositing in the valve.

    2. During the opening and closing process, the gate plate and sealing surface adopt a special design, which has less friction and is durable  .

    3. The upper seal adopts an upper cover structure, which changes the upper seal from a large-area rectangular seal to a small - area circumferential seal, greatly improving the sealing performance.

    4. After installing an envelope device on the top of the handwheel, all movable parts of the valve can be kept in a closed state, and the screw drive of the gate plate and valve stem will not get stuck due to drying up of lubricating oil. 

    5. The gate has the function of a gate knife, which can effectively cut off all kinds of debris in the medium.

    Pneumatic knife gate valve working principle:

     

    Pneumatic knife gate valves can generally be divided into single-acting and double-acting according to the action form of the pneumatic actuator. Double-action principle (air-open, air-close): two-position control of valve opening and closing; single-action principle (air-open reset, air-close reset): spring return action, when the circuit and air path are cut off or malfunctions , the valve opens or closes automatically.
