PVC can withstand corrosion from low to high concentrations of most acids, alkalis, and salts, but is not resistant to aromatic hydrocarbons. , ketones, ethers, and chlorinated carbon hydrocarbon corrosion. PP and PPH have very good chemical resistance and good resistance to general acids and organic solvents. Commonly used sealing rubber materials for PVC ball valves include EPDM and fluorine rubber FPM. According to their respective characteristics, they are suitable for different environments: EPDM can withstand general acids and alkalis, has good chemical resistance and water resistance, but is not resistant to mineral oil and superheated steam (200°C), and the operating temperature is between -40 and 120°C. FPM has good oil resistance, heat resistance, acid and alkali resistance and chemical resistance. It is often used in high-temperature and corrosion-resistant applications, with operating temperatures ranging from -20°C to 210°C.
