    Stainless steel diaphragm pulse damper, also known as pulsation damper and pulsation buffer, is a commonly used component to eliminate pipeline pulsation and is a must-have accessory for metering pumps. Rongxing pulsation dampers can smooth out pipeline pulsations and system water hammer caused by positive displacement pumps such as plunger pumps and diaphragm pumps. It isolates the gas from the liquid in the pipeline by a corrosion-resistant diaphragm, and smoothes the pipeline pulsation through changes in the volume of the gas chamber.

    Main functions of stainless steel diaphragm pulse damper

    1. Reduce the harm to the system caused by removing water hammer.

    2. Reduce the peak value of flow velocity fluctuation.

    3. Protect pipelines, elbows and joints from pressure fluctuations.

    4. Create a good working environment for the metering pump and improve the working performance of the pump.

    5. Allow the system to use smaller pipe diameters and reduce costs.

    6. Used in conjunction with a back pressure valve, etc., the pressure fluctuation in the pipeline can be close to zero.

    7. Reduce system energy consumption.

    Stainless steel diaphragm pulse dampers are made of materials such as 304, 316, lined and PVC. Our company has the following models for customers to choose from. If you have special needs, they can be ordered separately.

    The stainless steel diaphragm pulse damper is divided into an upper and lower shell, separated by a PTFE & rubber composite diaphragm in the middle. It is the most commonly used pulse damper. The greater advantage is that the diaphragm separates the pre-inflated gas from the liquid in the pipeline, which facilitates maintenance. Under appropriate selection and pressure charging conditions, it can reduce most pulses. The diaphragm pulse damper produced by our company is made of PVC and has a maximum pressure resistance of 1.0MPa. The maximum pressure resistance of stainless steel is generally 2.5MPa and the maximum pressure resistance is 5.0MPa.

    Volume selection method: multiply the volume per stroke (ml) by 10 to get the minimum volume that can reduce the pulse by 90%.

    DESIGN FEATURES of stainless steel diaphragm pulse damper

        •Diaphragm structure, medium and compressed gas separation, ensuring long-term stable operation

        •The only parts that come into contact with the medium are the lower shell and the diaphragm. The conventional diaphragm is in the form of rubber-lined PTFE. The PTFE is multi-directionally rolled and has good corrosion resistance and long service life.
