PTFE Safety Valve
Keywords: metering pump accessories
Classification:
Plastic safety valve
- DESCRIPTION
-
PTFE safety valve, also called PTFE pressure relief valve, automatically opens and closes according to the working pressure of the pressure system. It is generally installed on equipment or pipelines in closed systems to protect system safety. When the pressure in the equipment or pipeline exceeds the set pressure of the safety valve, the pressure relief is automatically opened to ensure that the pressure of the medium in the equipment and pipeline is under the set pressure, protecting the normal operation of the equipment and pipeline, preventing accidents and reducing losses.
DESIGN FEATURES
•Spring diaphragm structure, adjustable pressure (see parameter table for pressure adjustment range)
•The only parts that come into contact with the medium are the lower valve body and the diaphragm. The sealing areas of the lower valve body and the diaphragm are processed with sealing ribs, which have good sealing effect and high sensitivity.
•Conventional diaphragms are made of EPDM lined with PTFE, which is sandwiched with cloth and has good sealing effect and long service life; pure PTFE diaphragms have high temperature resistance and strong corrosion resistance.
PTFE safety valve application scope TYPICAL APPLICATIONS
•Chemical industry, water treatment, laboratory
•Corrosive liquids, ordinary gases
PTFE safety valve characteristic parameters:
•Adjustable pressure 0-1.0MPa, 0-2.0MPa, 0-3.0MPa (see parameter table for details)
•Safety test pressure: 1.5 times greater input pressure
•Applicable temperature: ordinary diaphragm -5℃ to +80℃); PTFE diaphragm: -5℃ to +80℃)
PTFE safety valve material:
•Lower valve body material: PVC, SS304, SS316L, PTFE, PVDF, PP, carbon steel, etc. (can be customized as required)
•Diaphragm material: EPDM lined with PTFE (composite diaphragm), PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene)
•Upper valve body material: PVC, carbon steel (nickel plated, blackened), 304 stainless steel, 316L stainless steel
When purchasing a PTFE safety valve , please provide the following data:
1. The diameter of the safety valve
2. The pressure that needs to be set
3. What material is needed and the connection method. It is best to inform the transported medium, temperature and flow rate at the same time.Safety valve specifications and installation dimensions
