  • DESCRIPTION

    PVC back pressure valve : used to prevent liquid from flowing or siphoning under the action of gravity. At this time, the back pressure valve can reduce the flow and pressure fluctuations caused by siphoning.

     

    DESIGN FEATURES of PVC back pressure valve

        •Spring diaphragm structure, adjustable pressure (see parameter table for pressure adjustment range)

        •The only parts that come into contact with the medium are the lower valve body and the diaphragm. The sealing areas of the lower valve body and the diaphragm are processed with sealing ribs, which have good sealing effect and high sensitivity.

        •Conventional diaphragms are made of EPDM lined with PTFE, which is sandwiched with cloth and has good sealing effect and long service life; pure PTFE diaphragms have high temperature resistance and strong corrosion resistance.

    PVC back pressure valve characteristic parameters:

        •Adjustable pressure 0-0.3MPa, 0-1.0MPa (see parameter table for details)

        •Safety test pressure: 1.5 times greater input pressure

        •Applicable temperature: ordinary diaphragm -5℃ to +80℃); PTFE diaphragm: -5℃ to +80℃)

    Material:

        •Lower valve body material: PVC, SS304, SS316L, PTFE, PVDF, PP, carbon steel, etc. (can be customized as required)

        •Diaphragm material: EPDM lined with PTFE (composite diaphragm), PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene)

        •Upper valve body material: PVC, carbon steel (nickel plated, blackened), 304 stainless steel, 316L stainless steel

    How to choose a back pressure valve on industrial pipelines?

    Back pressure valves generally have two uses:
             1: The back pressure valve is used to prevent the liquid from flowing (or siphoning) under the action of gravity. At this time, the pressure is generally greater than the liquid's own pressure, such as preventing the liquid level from being 2 meters in the medicine box. For self-flow of liquid, you can choose a back pressure valve with a pressure greater than 0.02MPa, generally 0.1MPa is sufficient.
             2: The back pressure valve is used to stabilize the flow of the pump. If the flow of some pumps changes greatly with the pressure, a back pressure valve can be set at the outlet of the pump to stabilize the output flow of the pump. In this case, the back pressure valve is generally selected. The pressure is the actual operating pressure of the pump or slightly less than the operating pressure of the pump.
            The one-way valve on the outlet pipe is used to prevent liquid backflow, and the back pressure valve is used to maintain a constant pressure at the pump outlet.

    When purchasing a back pressure valve, please provide the following data:

    1. The diameter of the back pressure valve 2. The pressure adjustment range 3. What materials are needed (the conventional materials produced by our company are: PVC, 304 stainless steel, 316L stainless steel, please specify if other materials are needed). It is better to inform the conveyed medium, temperature and flow rate at the same time.
